Denise B. Cazobon

Ms. Cazobon is a shareholder of Dunwody White & Landon, P.A. and is board certified by The Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates.

Ms. Cazobon focuses her practice on estate and tax planning, estate settlement, and probate and trust administration.  She represents individuals in designing estate plans to meet their financial and personal goals of wealth preservation, asset protection, charitable planning and minimization of estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.  She also represents individual and corporate fiduciaries and beneficiaries in connection with estate and trust administration matters.

A native Floridian, Ms. Cazobon earned her LL.M. in Taxation and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Miami.  She is a member of The Florida Bar and the New York Bar.

A former Fellow of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, Ms. Cazobon currently serves as a Member on the RPPTL Executive Council and Chair of the Charitable Planning and Exempt Organizations Committee.  She is also serving on the Chapter 617 Joint Task Force with The Florida Bar Business Law Section, which is working on updating the Florida Not For Profit Corporation Act.  Ms. Cazobon also serves on other RPPTL committees, including the Probate Law & Procedure Committee; the IRA, Insurance & Employee Benefits Committee; the Estate and Trust Tax Planning Committee; the Asset Protection Committee; and the Membership and Inclusion Committee.   She has previously served on The Florida Bar’s Probate Rules Committee.

Ms. Cazobon is a graduate of Class III of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, which was created by Florida ACTEC Fellows to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law. She has been recognized by her peers in Best Lawyers (2022 and 2023), Naples Illustrated’s Top Lawyers (2022) and Florida Super Lawyers (Rising Star – 2017-2019).

Locally, Ms. Cazobon is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Naples and the Collier County Bar Association, having served as a past Chair of the Trusts and Estates Section (2015-2016).  She is also a Past President of the Collier County Women’s Bar Association (2019-2020).

Active in her community, Ms. Cazobon is a member of The League Club (2018-2019 VP Development and 2017-2018 VP Elect Development) and a graduate of Leadership Collier Foundation’s Associate Leadership Collier (formerly Growing Associates in Naples) Class of 2014, which is a program designed for emerging leaders and professionals in Collier County.
