Robert D.W. Landon, II

(1940-2021)

Robert D. W. Landon, II was a shareholder of Dunwody White & Landon, P.A.  He was a Harvard Law School graduate and a cum laude graduate of Amherst College. Mr. Landon was board certified by the Florida Bar as a wills, trusts and estates lawyer and named one of the Best Lawyers in America by Woodward/White every year for from the inception of that publication through his death. Mr. Landon was a Fellow and served as Florida State Chair (1993-98) of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and was a member and past Chair of the Florida Bar Certification Committee for Wills, Trusts and Estates and past Chair of the Liaison with Corporate Fiduciaries Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of  the Florida Bar. Mr. Landon was instrumental in the founding of the annual Attorney Trust Officer Liaison Conference in Florida.  The Conference is now in its fourth decade.

Mr. Landon served for many years as a Director of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, as a member of the Planned Giving Committee of the Conservancy and a as member of the Foundation Committee of the NCH Healthcare System. He also was a past Regional Director of the Harvard University Alumni Association and past President of the Harvard Club of Naples.
